Mildred Hardin

Mildred Reed Hardin, of Hoover, passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2016, at the age of 92. She was a member of Metropolitan Church of God. Mildred was an airplane mechanic during the war. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Mildred was one of the sweetest women to walk the earth and was loved by all. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, John Hardin; son, Stephen Hardin (Mary); daughter, Renae Mickler (Benjamin); grandchildren, Christopher M. Hardin (Wendy) and Thaddeus Reed Mickler; and 3 great grandchildren, Maddox, Seth, and Reese Hardin.

The family will receive friends from 11-1, Friday, May 6, 2016, at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150 in Hoover. Funeral will follow at 1 PM in the chapel. Interment will be in Southern Heritage Cemetery.
