Mildred Duncan

of McCalla, passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2008 at the age of 83. She was a member of Canaan Baptist Church on Morgan Road. Mrs. Duncan is predeceased by three sisters, Theo Davis, Pauline Townsend, and Freeda Finch; a brother, Floyd Hyde; and a grandchild, Nichole Duncan. She is survived by her husband of more than 65 years, Raymond W. Duncan; sons, Joe E. Duncan (Pam) of McCalla and Tommy Ray Duncan (Kim) of Hoover; daughter, Judy Lynn Folk (Larry) of McCalla; six grandchildren and six great-greatchildren; sister, Bernice Spangenberg of Pell City; and brother, Glenn Hyde of Rainsville. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 12, 2008 from 10-11 AM at Currie Jefferson Funeral Home in Hoover. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
