Mildred Brock

Mildred Brunson Brock, of Homewood, went home to be with her Lord, Thursday, October 20, 2011, at the age of 93. She was a godly Christian lady who is greatly loved. She is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Charles A. Brock, Sr. She is survived by daughters, Dianne Garman, Sherry Brock and Beth Thompson (Fray); son, Charles Brock (Ginny); grandchildren; Tres Garman (Kristi), Sean Garman, Dana Jacobsen (Jimmy), Laura Jones (Jason), Mary Kate Pynes (Ryan), Timothy Thompson, Jordan and Greda Brock; great grandchildren, Kyrsti, Casey, and Travis Garman, Michael and Gracie Pynes; sister, Hazel Prior, and brother, Lamar Brunson (Betty). The family will receive friends from 2:30 - 3:30 PM, Sunday, October 23, 2011, at Shades Mountain Independent Church. Funeral service will follow at 3:30 in the church, Pastor Harry Walls officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
