Mihoko White

Mihoko White, of Hoover, passed away early Friday morning, September 21, 2018, after a long battle with dementia, she was 87. She was loving, caring and a christian woman who is now singing with the angels. She was preceded in death by her youngest son, Danny White of Tokyo, Japan.

Mihoko is survived by her children, Gail Tyler of Pinson, Tommy White of Pinson and Zina White of Hoover; her grandchildren, Marie (Waturu) Oshida of Tokyo, Japan and Jonathan (Misti) Tyler of Chelsea; great-grandchildren, Kayla Tyler of Gardendale and Connor Tyler of Chelsea; and a sister, Yoko (Kyomi) of Sapporo, Japan.

The family would like to say a special thanks for the care and support of the nurses with Comfort Care Hospice: Pat, Amanda, Bart and Sonia.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 30, 2018, at 2 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home in Hoover.
