Michael Wildman Sr.

Michael R. Wildman, Sr. of Helena, Alabama, a beloved husband, father, Papa, and friend passed away surrounded by his loving family on June 4, 2024, at the age of 82. He leaves behind his devoted wife, Kay Wildman; his son, Michael Wildman (Tanya); his daughter, Missy Wildman Brooks (Thomas); his cherished grandsons, Joshua Wildman (Meri), Christopher Wildman (Morning) and Gabriel Brooks; and his two sisters Sandy Harika and Linda Hare. He is preceded in death by his parents, Calvin and Grace, and his brother Ronald. Mike's legacy continues through his great-grandchildren Ridge, Archer, and Maddie Grace.

Mike had a passion for the outdoors, where he spent countless hours hunting, fishing, and gardening. His workshop was a place of creativity, where he crafted artisan wooden bowls and furniture with great skill and dedication.

Known for his generous heart, Mike was deeply committed to helping families in need, often volunteering his time and resources to support them. His faith in Jesus Christ was a cornerstone of his life, and he joyfully shared the message of the Lord daily.

Mike was larger than life, and his presence will be profoundly missed by many. He loved his family deeply and was equally well-loved in return. His memory will forever be cherished by all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to Metropolitan Church of God in his honor would be his wish.
