Michael Stanfield

Mr. Michael Robert Stanfield, of Birmingham, passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at the age of 44. He was a sweet and loving son and brother. Michael was preceded in death by his father, Herbert J. Stanfield. He is survived by his mother, Jackie Anderson (step-father, Tommy); 2 brothers, Creig Stanfield (Christy) and Eric Stanfield; a step-brother, Brett Anderson (Heather); grandmother, Rosetta Simpkins; and 6 nephews, Alex, Andrew, Isaac, Jack, Isaiah and Ian; a niece, Isabella. The family will receive friends on Monday, April 29, 2013 from 10 to 11 AM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 11 AM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Paul Moore officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South. The family requests donations to Camp ASCCA, P.O Box 21, Jacksons Gap, AL 36861.
