Michael Clements, Jr

Mr. Michael T. Clements, Jr., of Helena, AL, went home to be with his Lord Jesus Christ on Wednesday, July 16, 2014, at the age of 45. Michael worked beside his dad in the steel business for 30 years. He was a God loving man, who loved to laugh and make others laugh. Michael was a very kindhearted, selfless person, who thought of others before himself. A loving son, devoted husband and father, he was loved by all who knew him. He had a love for music and was a drummer and musician, who taught his children to play multiple instruments. He was an avid Auburn fan, win or lose, no difference. WDE!
He was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Ann Clements.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Sonya Kaye Lewis Clements, son, Casey James Dalton (Jenifer), daughter, Miranda Kaye Clements, father, Michael T. Clements, Sr. (Dee), mother, Patricia S. Clements, half-brother, William Jennings Clements, three step-brothers, Aubrey and Richard (Debbie) Wormington, and David Bailey, Jr. (Stacy), a step-sister, Chasity Skinner (Eric), many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Saturday, July 19, 2014, from 9:30-10:30 AM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 10:30 AM in the chapel. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
