Melissa Parker

22, of Hoover, passed away on Friday, June 1, 2012. She was a member of Hunter Street Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Hoover High School class of 2008. She was employed by Keith and Libby Jacobson of Inverness Dermatology. She is survived by her parents Keith and Kelly Parker and her brother, Brad Parker; extended family, Keith and Libby Jacobson and their children Sam, Sarah and Katie; special friend, Billy Clements. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 5, 2012, from 1:30 pm until 3 pm at Hunter Street Baptist Church. Funeral service will follow at 3 pm in the church santuary with burial to follow at Elmwood cemetery. Dr. Buddy Gray officiating. The family ask that memorials be made to Hunter Street Baptist Church, 2600 John Hawkins Parkway, Hoover AL 35244. "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future" Jer. 29:11. Melissa's hope is in Jesus Christ. Her future is no longer with us on earth but we find comfort that she is in the presence of the Lord.
