Max Arnett

of Hoover, passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2009, at the age of 75. He was a member of Hunter Street Baptist Church and was a resident of Hoover for the past 4 years. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force. Mr. Arnett retired from Chrysler Corp. in Dayton, OH after 30 years of service. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Jan Arnett; a son, Greg Arnett (Sheila); four grandchildren, Breanne Woodham, Evan Provost, Tessa Clark and Kelsey Mathews; two great-grandchildren, J. D. Woodham and Josie Provost; a sister, Jeanette Hawkins; a host of cousins and other loving family members. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 20, 2009, from 10-11 AM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Chris Sullivan officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Hope Hospice, P. O. Box 10304, Birmingham, AL 35202.
