age 72, of Pelham, AL. passed away on Sunday, October 14, 2007. Mrs. Casey was born in Wales, U.K. on October 27, 1935, where she was raised and attained her education. She married Brian Casey on November 6, 1954 and enjoyed 53 years together as husband and wife. Mr. and Mrs. Casey emigrated to Canada in 1964, and moved to the United States in 1969. They lived in Canada, St. Croix, U.S. V.I. and throughout the U.S.A. during her husband's career, and made their home in Pelham in 1977. Mrs. Casey was a homemaker and mother of four boys whom she took great pride in raising and caring for. She was a remarkable lady, very kind, caring and generous. She was a member of the Sweet Rollers Bowling League for years, where she cherished the friendships she made. She is survived by her loving husband, Brian; four sons, Adrian of Moreno Valley, CA., Paul of Denver, CO., Colin of Charlotte, N.C., and Shawn and daughter-in-law, Kristin of Brunswick, ME.; two sisters, Beryl Richardson of B.C., Canada and Ray Harrison of Wales, U.K.; five granddaughters, Ashley and Allison of North Hollywood, CA., Chelsea of Moreno Valley, CA., Lauryn and Lyla of Brunswick, ME.; six nieces; four nephews; several great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Noel Smith Williams and Barbara Ellen Williams, her brother, Basil Williams and a sister, Sadie Thomas The family would like to extend their gratitude to Kindred Care Hospice for their professionalism and tender care of Maureen.
