Mary Perkins Colburn

Mrs. Mary Perkins Colburn, 83, of Bessemer, AL passed away on January 8, 2021. She was a member of Grant Street Baptist Church in Bessemer. She retired after 40 years as Secretary at Young and Vann Supply and loved collecting dolls. She was married over 30 years to the love of her life, George Colburn.

She is preceded in death by her husband; parents, Henry Melton Perkins and Minnie Rachel Barnes Perkins; and siblings, Choyce Perkins, Ruby Nell Higgins, Bryce Perkins, and Carnis Perkins.

She is survived by her brother, Durell Perkins; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at 11:00am at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South in Hoover, AL.
