Mary Swindle

SWINDLE, MARY EUBANKS CHESHIRE, of Cahaba Heights, passed away on Friday, March 27, 2009 at the age of 82. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, R. Vance Swindle; her sister, Annlene Cheshire Tubbs of Jasper; and her brother, Duward Cheshire of Florence. She is survived by two sons, Mike Swindle (Stephanie) of Augusta, GA and Ronnie Swindle (Penny) of Panama City Beach, FL; a daughter, Sandy Childers (Alan) of Birmingham; six grandchildren, Alison, Emily, Brent, and Weston Swindle, Shannon Newell (Randy) and Jeremy Childers; great-grandsons, Caleb and Connor Newell; and her beloved dog, Dixie. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 29, 2009, from 4:00 – 6:00 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home on Hwy 150 in Hoover. Funeral will be Monday, March 30, 2009, at 11:00 AM, in the funeral home chapel, Bro. Ed Wallen officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
