Mary Kyzer

of Hoover, passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at the age of 83. She retired from Goodwin Jewelry Co. after many years of service. Mrs. Kyzer was a member of Riverchase Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt who will be greatly missed by her entire family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Roy Kyzer. She is survived by 3 sons, Charles Kyzer (Suzanne), Bruce Kyzer (Maria) and Larry Kyzer (Carolyn); 2 brothers, Therman McKay (Betty) and Pat McKay (Martha); a sister, Peggy Denton; 8 grandchildren: 4 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 30, 2011 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy. 150, Hoover. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Jeff Greer officiating. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Gardens.
