Mary J. Griffin, of Birmingham, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2016, at the age of 93.She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Bob" Griffin; 2 brothers; and a sister.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Mary Nell Bentley and Shirley Warren (Radford); 6 grandchildren, Bobby Bentley (Cheryl), David Bentley (Tinka), Brian Bentley (Audra), Chris Warren (Jennifer), Monica Haynes (Jeremy), and Kaylee Montgomery (Bo); 15 great grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM, Thursday, May 26, 2016, at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150 in Hoover. Graveside service will follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South, Brother Duwayne Pounds officiating.

The family requests donations be made to St. Vincent's Hospice Care.
