Mary Gallant

Mrs. Mary Frederick Gallant, age 88, of Hoover, AL, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 31, 2010. She was an active member of Hunter Street Baptist Church for the past 70 years and was especially devoted to the mission work of the WMU. She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband, Otis Neal Gallant, and her much loved son, John Neal Gallant, and grandson, Chad Gallant. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Etheridge, grand daughters, Kristn Trammell (Dan), Shannon Swindle (Bryan), Emily Gallant, and her grandsons David Etheridge (Jenny) and Brad Gallant (Suzette), one great grand-daughter Abby Trammell and four great grandsons Kody and Ethan Swindle, Will and Macon Gallant; her sister Sarah Miller (Reverend George Miller), brother-in-law Jack Gallant (Mildred) and sister-in-law Grace Snelling (Joe). Funeral services will be on Friday, September 3, 2010 at 10:00 am at the Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 2, 2010 from 6 until 8 pm. Dr. Buddy Gray officiating.
