Mary Dodd

On April 27, 2022, Mary Ann Dodd of Bessemer, Alabama, a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother went to be with the Lord. Mary was born on February 1, 1946 in Fairhope, Alabama to William and Louis Campbell. Mary was a member of Southcrest Baptist Church. Mary was a retiree of the Hoover Board of Education where she held numerous positions. Mary loved to fish, spend time with her animals, and enjoying outside time. Mary was preceded in death by her father and mother, William and Louis Campbell, brother Henry Campbell, sister Caroline Campbell, Lois Davenport, Husband Robert Eugene Dodd Sr., daughter Sheila Golden. Mary was survived by brothers James Campbell, Alvin Campbell, Wayne Campbell (Jessica) sister Clara McKinney (David) sons Robert Eugene Dodd Jr ( Jenifer) Justin Dodd, daughters Sharron Box ( Randy),  Michelle Tew ( Jimmy ),14 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, other close family and numerous close friends. Mary’s heart was being a caregiver to so many. Mary will be truly missed by everyone who knew her here on this Earth but is now reunited with her husband and others who went to be with the Lord previously.
