Mary Dison

Mrs. Mary Butler Dison, of Hoover, passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2011, at the age of 85. She was an avid Alabama fan who enjoyed drinking her coffee and working in her yard. She worked many years as an insurance underwriter and was one who was always giving and caring for her family. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Elmore N. Dison, Jr. She is survived by a son, Elmore N. Dison, III; a grandson, Brandon N. Dison; a granddaughter, Karis A. Dison; a brother, John A. Butler (Mary Jo); and a sister-in-law, Pat Butler. In her last days, she was cared for by her grandson Brandon and his girlfriend, Margot Cross, as well as special friend, Ruby Mallory. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 7, 2011 from 1 to 2 PM followed by a graveside service at 2 PM. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
