left this world on Thursday, June 29, 2006, at the age of 83. She loved God, family, friends and co-workers. She had a distinguished career, with the FBI, Jefferson County and the Social Security Administation. Mrs. Bowling appreciated the many kindnesses of the pastoral staff and parishioners of St. Peter's, St. Aloysius, and Prince of Peace Catholic Churches. Her "bingo buddies" and friends (including, but not limited to, Doris Burton and Betty Colburn) were forever in her thoughts and prayers. Her marriage to Henry "Hank" Bowling ended with his death in 1976. She is survived by their children, Pam and Charlie Carpri, Susie and Philip Bowling and Richard Bowling; her grandchildren, Michael Carpri (Jennifer), Philip Carpri, Stephanie Bowling, Peter and Philip Bowling, Jr.; a great grandson, Ashton "Ash" Carpri; a sister, Victoria Martin (Paul) who lives in his birthtown of Butler, PA. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 30, 2006, from 5-7 p.m. at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 1, 2006, at 10:00 a.m. at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Interment will be in Valhalla Cemetery. Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home directing.
