Mary Black

Mrs. Mary Lou Black, age 89, of Birmingham, passed away on Wednesday, July 11, 2012. She attended Central Park-Ensley Presbyterian and First Methodist in Alexander City. She was retired from the Birmingham Board of Education. She is preceded in death by her husband, George Patterson Black, Jr. She is survived by two daughters, Ann Kelley and Jane Boren (Terry); five grandchildren, Bryan (Margaret), Kevin (Rhonda) and Sean (Patti) Kelley, Lynn Gerald (Joe), Lisa Cowart (Kristian); nine great grandchildren. Graveside services will be on Friday, July 13, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
