Marshall Rodgers, Sr

of Vestavia Hills, AL, passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2014, with his family by his side, at the age of 87. Marshall will be remembered as a wonderful role model, husband of 58 years, father, and grandfather. He will be missed greatly but his family is grateful for the time God allowed them to share with him.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Rodgers, a brother and two sisters.
He is survived by his son, Marshall R. Rodgers, Jr. (Sabra), daughter, Kathryn Eddy (Donald), grandchildren, Bryan Litten (Natalie), Paul Litten, Jr. (Sara), Sara Hubbard (Matthew), Chandler Rodgers and Cannon Rodgers, and great grandchildren, Savannah, McKinley, and Marley.
The family will receive friends Monday, December 22, 2014, from 10-11 AM at Bluff Park United Methodist Church with a memorial service following at 11 AM.
