Marlin Brasher

Marlin Pounds Brasher peacefully and sweetly passed away on February 17, 2017 at her Birmingham home surrounded by her family. Born on August 19, 1928 to Richard and Essie Pounds, she married the love of her life, Floyd Jackson Brasher on November 19, 1948. She is survived by her husband and children Larry Jackson Brasher (Kaye) of Birmingham, Richard W. Brasher (Nancy) of Nashville, TN and Connie Brasher Webb (Franklin Page, Jr) of Birmingham. Affectionately known as “Molly” by her grandchildren, she is survived by William Jackson Brasher (Meagan), Franklin Page Webb, III, Richard Gray Brasher, James Baker Webb, Edward Taylor Brasher (Brittany) and Kaci Lauren Brasher (fiancé Tosh Kirchikov). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Marlin will be remembered for her strong Christian faith and her devotion to her husband and family. A kind-hearted and selfless lady, she delighted in serving others and dearly cherished her long time friendships. A celebration of her life will be held at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home on Sunday, February 19, 2017 at 2:00 PM with a visitation 12:30-2:00 PM. The Reverend Rusty Glasgow will officiate.
