Marlene Bearden

Bearden, Marlene Philyaw, age 74, of Pleasant Grove, passed away on Friday, July 30, 2010. She was a member of Cottage Hill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her son George E. Philyaw. She is survived by four daughters, Billie Dean Haney (Paul), Cherron Dodd (Billy), Brenda Robinson (Dell) and Debra Couch; one son Harlan Dale Philyaw; ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; a host of other family and friends. The family would like to express appreciation and thanks to Hospice Advantage for their loving care. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, August 3, 2010, at 11 AM at the Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10 until 11 AM. Bro. Jerry Sherrill will be officiating.
