Marilyn Bonnell

Mrs. Marilyn Jean Bonnell, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at the age of 84. She was a devoted wife and mother who taught her children to love Christ, and lived the meaning of servanthood in front of them daily. She served her Lord as a Southern Baptist Missionary to Africa from 1961 to 1988. She is preceeded in death by her parents, her son in law Charlie and her beloved son, Craig "Zoom".
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Dutton Bonnell, a daughter, Cathy Bonnell Huneycutt, a daughter in law, Rita England Bonnell, a sister, Barbara Fullwood of Gainesville, FL, a brother, Wayne Richards (Sylvia) of Bat Cave, North Carolina, and step sisters, Barb Pedricks of Middleburg, FL and Lynn Harnage (Jessie) of Jacksonville, FL.
The family wishes to thank profusely the entire staff of The Oaks on Parkwood for the outstanding, compassionate care and outpouring of love given to this great lady.
Graveside service will be on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
