Margaret Verciglio

Margaret Louise (Battle) Verciglio, of Lilburn, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at age 96.  She was a graduate of Woodlawn High School and was a lifelong member of Woodlawn United Methodist Church.  Margaret also managed Blach's Department Store in Mountain Brook for many years.  She is preceded in death by her husband, John William "Willie" Verciglio; and parents, Will and Sadie Mae Battle.

Margaret is survived by her son, Robert W. Verciglio (Sandra); grandchildren, Michele Verciglio Kerbow, and William M. Verciglio; great-grandchildren, Courtney Kerbow Patrick, and Ashlyn Kerbow Compton; sister, Doris M. McCay; and nephew, Don McCay.

The family will receive friends on Friday, April 20, 2018, from 10-11 AM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home in Hoover.  A graveside service will be held at 11:30 AM at Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham.
