Born November 14, 1921 in Birmingham, Alabama to Owen Joseph and Agnes Reid Campbell, predeceased by her parents, stepmother Eugenia Bean Campbell, brothers Owen Joseph, Jr., Frank Patrick, Richard Frederick and Ronald Thomas Campbell, and sister Agnes Beatrice Wood. She is survived by her husband, William Breal Hulsey, three sons, William Frederick Hulsey (Jane) Birmingham, Alabama, John Owen Hulsey (Wanda) Alabaster, Alabama and Breal Stephen Hulsey, Birmingham, Alabama; one daughter, Cheryl Hulsey Cook (Larry) Alabaster, Alabama; one brother, Gerald E. Campbell (Louise) Alliance, Alabama; one sister, Martha Ballard, Hanceville, Alabama; sisters-in-law, Hazel and Beatrice Campbell; grandchildren, Owen Hulsey, Dawn Hulsey, Jonathan Cook, Jacob Cook, Angela Hulsey and Laura Hulsey; great grandchildren, Colton Cook and Bailey Cook. The family will be forever grateful to the devoted nurses and loving caregivers from New Beacon, who helped make her last earthly days comfortable. Visitation at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy. 150, Hoover, Alabama will be on Tuesday morning, March 24, 2009, from 10:00 to 11:30 A.M. Graveside services will be held at 12:30 P.M. at Elmwood Cemetery with Reverend Kevin Bazzel officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Camp ASCCA, P. O. Box 21, 5278 Camp ASCCA Dr., Jackson's Gap, Al. 36861 or to the charity of your choice. Services are under the direction of Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hoover, Alabama, telephone 205-987-0068.
