Margaret Heath

of McCalla, passed away on Friday, April 20, 2007. She was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church and was the director of the prison ministry in the church for many years. "I have lived a full and wonderful life, and I would not change a thing - God be with you." She is survived by a daughter, Margaret "Meg" Glaze; a son, Tom Haggerty (Judy); four grandchildren, Helen Newton (Dan), Army Major Louis Sutherland (Becky), Ellen Ellis (Jared) and Amy Haggerty; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; a sister, Doris Slauson of Montgomery; a brother, Alfred L. Deavers of Piedmont, SC; four nieces; seven nephews; a life-long friend, Maud Garrick of Montgomery; and her devoted adopted daughter who was her caregiver during the week, Celia Dudley. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 23, 2007, at 5:30 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home.
