Marcia Gartner

of Hoover, passed away Monday, January 7, 2013, at the age of 52. She is survived by her husband of 23 years, John Gartner; son, Paul Gartner; parents, Phillip and Lois Lavine; 2 sisters, Amy Lavine (Diana Price) and Lauren Lavine; and her brother, Michael Lavine (Dottie). The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM, Thursday, January 10, 2013, at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150 in Hoover. Funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 7 PM. The family requests donations be made either to the Greater Birmingham Humane Society or to the American Heart and Stroke Association.
