Mamie C. Owens of Hoover, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 3, 2023, at the age of 87 after battling Dementia for several years.

She is survived by her son Dave Owens; daughters, Tami Bearden (Wayne) and Kris Faulkner (Billy); 8 grandchildren, Destinee Patterson (Tracey), Elyse Bristow (Wesley), Paden Bearden, Kadie Watson (Trey), Heather Owens, Logan Faulkner (Dyanna), Alan Owens, Mia Roberts (Broc); 8 great-grandchildren, Ethan Prater and Liam Watson, Gabriel and Gracelyn Bristow, Mason and Sawyer Patterson, Steele Hester and Gunnar Allen. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny E. Owens; granddaughter, Olivia Bearden; and beloved dog, Rufus. The family will receive friends and family at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Highway 150 in Hoover. Funeral will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens South.
