Maggie Jones

Maggie Jones, 90, of Gardendale, Alabama, passed away on February 23, 2022. Maggie was born June 25,1931 in Carbon Hill, Alabama where she spent her childhood. She worked in the printing industry for over 25 years which included UAB printing services in Birmingham, Alabama.

She was a resident of Gardendale since 2015. Maggie was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Jones, sons Wayne Jones, Harlon Jones, and John Jones.

She is survived by her daughters Melissa Bayliss (Craig), Carmen Nail (Charles), Carolyn Nunalee (Frank), and Karen Jones granddaughters Jennifer Avila (Brandon), Kristen Nail, and Kimberly Jones grandsons Brian Brookshire (Kaisha), Alan Nunalee (Kaitlyn), Daniel Nunalee, Brandon Nail, Justin Nunalee (Tara) and John Jones great grandchildren Gavin Gurtis, Emma Bayliss, Vivienne Avila, Brooks Nunalee, Kenzie Nunalee, Cameron Nunalee, Jeremy Nunalee, Alexya Kern, Brynna Kern, Milly Kern, and Drayden Kern.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am – 11:00 am on Saturday, February 26, 2022, at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home in Hoover, Alabama. A graveside service will be held at 11:45.am at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
