WILLIAMSON, LYNN STUBBLEFIELD, After a short but courageous fight with lung cancer, Lynn Stubblefield Williamson, born July 26, 1955, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2009 surrounded by family. A member of Smokerise Baptist Church, Lynn was a beautiful and charming woman who was full of life. She loved her family and friends and enjoyed spending time at her beach house, lake house and her home. Lynn was a dedicated employee of SBA Communications and will be missed by all of her colleagues and clients. Lynn is survived by her grandmother, Frances Richey; parents, Ray and June Stubblefield; her husband, Mike Williamson; her children, Madison Williamson and Shane Stubblefield (Pamela); granddaughter, Edie Stubblefield; brothers, Greg (Mary), Richey (Ginger) and Tom (Arcel) Stubblefield; and numerous brothers and sisters in law, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and cousins, who will all miss her vivacious spirit. Lynn was preceded in death by her grandparents, James and Elsie Stubblefield and John W. Richey; and her nephew, Hunter Stubblefield. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 6th, 2009, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150 in Hoover. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 7th at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Grace Ministries, 2920 18th Street South Homewood, AL 35209 (in Lynn and Maddison Williamson's names) or the American Institute for Cancer Research, 1759 R Street NW, Washington, DC 20009 to support lung cancer research.
