Louise Mckelvy

Louise D. McKelvy, of Vestavia Hills, AL, formerly of Pensacola, FL, passed away Thursday, January 22, 2015, at the age of 94. She was born in Gull Point, FL. She spent most of her life as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be missed by her family and her many friends. "Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened."
She is survived by her sons, William R. McKelvy (Janet) and Michael T. McKelvy (Wanda), grandchildren, James Dennis McKelvy (Crystal), Laura McKelvy, and Eric McKelvy, and great grandchildren, Jordan, Thomas, and Addy.
A memorial service will be Friday, January 30, 2015, at 11 AM at Mountain Chapel United Methodist Church with Reverend Tom Parrish officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to American Cancer Society or Mountain Chapel United Methodist Church.
