Louise Moore Linton Robertson

Louise "Lou" Moore Linton Robertson, 95, passed away on March 4, 2025 in Hoover, Alabama.

She was born on August 23, 1929 in Birmingham, Alabama. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph G. Robertson, her father, Barrett Moore, her mother, Bertha Moore, her sisters, Inez Donahoo and Bennie Campbell, her brother, Aubrey Ray Moore, her step-sons, John Robertson and Joseph Robertson, and the father of her children, Billy Joe Linton.

She was an active member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. Her happiness came from being involved with her children, step-children, and grandchildren and seeing them grow into extraordinary adults. She loved them dearly.

She is survived by her children, Debra Jo Linton, Melissa Linton Stephens (Dennis) and George Thomas Linton (Debra Ann), her step children, Joyce Robertson Rogers, Karen Mockler Robertson, Leslie Robertson, her grandchildren, Lani Rae Winslow (Joey), Samuel Stephens (Sarah), Michael Joe Linton (Casey), Alexandra Linton Tyson (Will), Lauren Robertson-Braum (Max), Victoria Corinne Robertson, Anne Robertson Green (Christian), Amy Lynn Robertson, John Samuel Rogers, Joshua Rogers, Jonathan Houston (Leigh), 12 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at Elmwood Cemetery on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
