Louis Belzer

Mr. Louis E. Belzer, of Fultondale, AL, passed away Friday, March 6, 2015, at the age of 82. Mr. Belzer was a longtime Christian. He served the Lord with the Fultondale Church of Christ where he was a Bible Class Teacher and Treasurer. He worked as a draftsman for many years for various companies.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Margaret and Louis Belzer, and sister, Elsie Resh.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Bobbie J. Belzer, son, D. Scott Belzer, daughter, Marsha F. Wilsher (Steve), grandchildren; Mandy Fielding (Luke) and Alexis Bennett (Matt), great grandchildren; Jackson Fielding, Lyla Bennett and Jesse Bennett, and sister, Jannie Benfield.
The family will receive friends Sunday, March 8, 2015, from 1:30-2 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 2 PM in the chapel with Rob Slover and Steve Wilsher officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
