Lougene Phillips

PHILLIPS, LOUGENE 4/13/2007 1 ---------- text below ---------- of Birmingham, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 12, 2007, at the age of 80. She was a retired bookkeeper and was a member of Pelham Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice Phillips; a son, Don Phillips; and a sister, Opal Rosser. She is survived by a son, Terry Phillips (Lenora); a daughter, Cheryl Duke (Barry); three grandchildren, Amber and Daniel Phillips, and Traci Reagan (Jeff); and four great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 14, 2007, from 12:00 until 2:00 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Douglasville Church of Christ Building Fund, Big B Road, Douglasville, GA 30134.
