Lori passed away in her sleep July 25th, 2020. She ruled her household with a feather fist, eyes masked in Prada shades. She’d insist she was “the boss,” even after losing the 7th replacement set of car keys. Her laughter and joy was as infectious as her forgetfulness, though she rarely forgot the importance of a friend. She was an adoring wife, mother, confidant, and shopper. Her open mind was not lost in this chaotic world. She instilled in her children the importance of laughter, caring rhetoric, and above all love. She is reunited with her late son Connor Phifer. She is survived by her daughter, Allie “Buttflames” Phifer; her husband John “Booby” Acres; her sister Rhonda “Honda” Klug; her niece Julianne Klug; her nephew Thomas Klug; her sister-in-love Catherine Klug; and her brother James Klug.
The family will receive friends on Friday, July 31, 2020 from 12:00 - 1:00 PM at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will follow at 1:00 PM at the church. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South, in Hoover.
