Lois Paravicini

of Birmingham, passed away on Friday, February 16, 2007, at the age of 80. Lois was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was known throughout her life for her gentle spirit and kind heart and was always giving and serving others. She was a faithful servant to her church where she served as sacristan and a member of numerous Women's Guilds for 30 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Paravicini. She is survived by 4 daughters, Linda Stilwell (John), Carol Cost (Sam), Lisa Rivers (Jeff) and Robin Prater (Jerry); her very special caregiver and friend, Leontine Brown; 14 grandchildren, Kathryn Stilwell Pettit (Mike), Kristen Stilwell Ayers (Chris), Elizabeth Stilwell, Jeremy Olsen, Ben Olsen (Megan), Erin Olsen, Alex Rivers, Anna Rivers, Adam Rivers, Nicholas Rivers, Cambre Prater, Jay Prater, Robby Prater and Sam Prater; and 2 great grandchildren, Kelsie and Caden Ayers. The family will receive friends on Monday, February 19, 2007, from 9:30 until 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church with a Mass of Christian Burial following at 11:00 a.m. with Msgr. Paul Rohling officiating. Burial will be held on Wednesday, February 21, 2007, at Lakelawn Cemetery in New Orleans, LA.
