Lloyd Mahan

Lloyd Leldon Mahan died peacefully at home in his sleep following a lengthy illness on September 10, 2014. Lloyd lived a full and wonderful life and was loved by many.
He leaves behind his loving and devoted wife of 64 years, Betty Shelton Mahan, his son, Lloyd Stephen Mahan (Diana) and daughters, Robin Mahan Vickers (Mike) and Connie Mahan Scott (Keith); grandchildren, Reagan Vickers (Monica Gibson Vickers), Ashley Vickers Shaw (Andy), Alex Scott, Sam Scott, and Lidia Scott; great grandchildren, Chase Atkinson, Lacey Atkinson, Abigail Shaw and Addison Shaw; his sisters, Doll Mahan Champion (Malcolm) and Audrey Mahan Krotzer.
He was preceded in death by granddaughter, Sima Mahan Atkinson.
Pallbearers will be Keith Scott, Alex Scott, Sam Scott, Andy Shaw, David Roy and Rick Gandy.
The family will receive friends Friday, September 12, 2014, from 1-2 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow in the chapel at 2 PM with Reverend Morgan Bailey officiating. Interment will be Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canaan Baptist Church, Morgan Road, Bessemer, AL for the building fund.
