Lisa McDaniel

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lisa Wambsganss McDaniel, age 66, of McCalla, AL. Lisa passed away peacefully in her home on June 5, 2024. Lisa was born on May 3, 1958, in Birmingham, Alabama to Jack and Melba (Culpepper) Wambsganss.

Lisa will be deeply missed and forever cherished by her spouse, Wayne McDaniel; children, Ginger Lowery Goode (Paul Goode), Chip Arrington (Lindsay Arrington), Chad Arrington, and Trey McDaniel (Vicki McDaniel); grandchildren, Sophia Lowery, Stella Lowery, Kinley Arrington, Wilder Arrington, Willa Arrington, and Lilly McDaniel. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She also had a deep affection for dogs.

Lisa led a remarkable life filled with an unwavering love for her family. She was friendly and outgoing, having never met a stranger. It wasn't uncommon for her to tell a total stranger about the goings on with her children and grandchildren. Lisa treated everyone she met as a friend. During social gatherings, Lisa would make every effort to introduce everyone because she didn't want people being strangers. She and Wayne founded Riverchase Collision Repair on March 10, 1997. Lisa will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and her love for all animals, especially dogs.

Friends and family are invited to join in celebrating the life of Lisa Wambsganss McDaniel. A visitation will be held on June 10, 2024, at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, located at 2701 John Hawkins Pkwy Hoover, AL 35244 from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm. A short funeral service to honor her memory will take place at the funeral home following visitation.
