Lindsay Rachelle Carnohan, age 35, passed away on March 1, 2019. She was born on July 16, 1983 in Huntington, West Virginia. In 1989 she moved to Birmingham Alabama where she attended Hoover City Schools and played soccer, basketball, and volleyball. She also played volleyball for BVC, Xavier University, and UAB. She worked as a Production Manager for JRAG, a Hospitality Coordinator at Oak Mountain Ampitheatre, Live Nation Concerts, and Freelance Film Production.
Lindsay is preceded in death by her grandmother, Betty Damron; her grandfathers, Rex Porter and Bill Carnohan; her step-grandfather, Dan Lynch. She is survived by her parents, Robert Steve Carnohan and Karen Carnohan of Hoover, AL; her sister, Jaimie Irby Naylor of Hartselle, AL; her brother Michael Irby (Jai) of Coeur d'Alene, ID; her niece, Savanna Naylor; her nephew, Landon Naylor; her grandmother, Pam Lynch of Richmond, VA; numerous aunts and uncles; her special friend and roommate Chris Burns; and her pet dog, Roxy.
The family will receive friends from 4-8, Thursday, March 7, 2019, at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home in Hoover, with a Celebration of Life Service at 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to "For the Love of Ryan" (https://www.facebook.com/donate/1994665034171157/?fundraiser_source=external_url).
