Linda was a beautiful person inside and out. Everyone whose life she touched was better off for having known her. She was an adored wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She taught us all how to live with courage, compassion and most of all, love. Linda was a genuinely kind and selfless woman who was happiest when caring for others. She was an exceptional nurse and has always had a special place in her heart for animals. She loved her beautiful flower gardens and was an avid tennis player. Of all her loves, however, her greatest was her family. After 46 years of marriage, she is survived by her husband, Bill LaGanke and her three children, Jacqueline LaGanke Ackerman, Aaron LaGanke and Brandon LaGanke and her five grandchildren (Christopher, McKenzie, Autumn, Elijah and Samuel). She is also survived by her siblings Susan (Zanko) Boudon and Robert Zanko. Linda was born in Cleveland, OH in 1949 and grew up in Kirtland, OH. She graduated from Kirtland High School and from Willoughby Eastlake School of Nursing. She was a brave and strong woman who lost her battle with Ovarian Cancer after an extended time. Despite this struggle, she felt grateful for the wonderful life she had. Her Memorial Service will be held on Monday, August 8th from 11-4pm at Manakiki Country Club in Willoughby Hills, OH, the place where Bill and Linda celebrated their wedding reception 46 years ago starting their beautiful life together.
