Linda Coopwood

Linda Grace Coopwood, age 82, of Hoover, AL went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 3, 2021 in Indian Springs. She was born on January 12, 1939 to Mr. and Mrs. Cecil E. Rankin of Selma, Al who preceded her in death.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Treadwell B. Coopwood of Hoover; her son, Mark Edwin Coopwood (DeWana); grandchildren,  Parker and Abigail of Thomasville, AL; her daughter, Nancy Grace Coopwood of Indian Springs; her sister, Ann R. Jacobs of Fountain Valley, CA.

Mrs. Coopwood lived her early life in Selma and a long time resident of Hoover, Al where she was a devoted member of Mountain Chapel Methodist and enjoyed playing bridge and fellowship.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at Mountain Chapel Methodist Church, 2541 Rocky Ridge Road, Vestavia, Al. 35243. Burial will be in Jefferson Memorial South in Hoover, AL with Currie Jefferson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements, 2701 John Hawkins Parkway, Hoover, AL  35244; www.curriejefferson.com

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Mountain Chapel Methodist Church or to your favorite animal charity.
