Lily Hope Beam, 17, of Hoover, Alabama, met her Savior face to face on December 18th after a courageous battle with leukemia. Lily was born on September 9, 2007, and grew into a beautiful young woman who was kind to everyone she met.
Psalm 56:3 was the Bible verse that Lily held tightly all her life. “When I am afraid, I will trust in you.”
Lily loved her family, her friends, and her church. She was an active member of The Station Church for her entire life. She always did her best and set high expectations for herself. She was determined to reach her goals. Lily was a student at Hoover High School and was a part of many organizations, clubs, and honor societies.
Lily is survived by her father and mother, Jason and Courtney, and her brother, Micah; her grandmother Debra Beam Ornburn (Bill), her grandmother, Linda Buckner, her grandfather, Tommy Beam (Michelle), and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Lily was preceded in death by her brother, Tucker, and her grandfather, Rodney Tucker.
Services will be held on Monday, December 23rd at The Station Church, 6270 Park South Drive, Bessemer, Alabama, 35022. Visitation will be from 9-12 with a memorial service immediately following. Burial will be at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
