Leonard Mcfarland

Mr. Leonard McFarland, age 82, of Hoover passed away on Friday, February 25, 2011. He was a member of Green Valley Baptist Church. He was retired from BellSouth after 36 years of service and an Air Force Veteran. He is survived by his wife of 62 years Eva Mae McFarland; two children, Leonard R. McFarland Jr. (Kathy) and John E. McFarland (Teresa); five grandchildren, Scott, Allana, Anna, Johnny and Chelsea; three great grandchildren, Alexa-Grace, Jay and Violet; one brother Jim McFarland. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 28, 2011 at 11 AM in the Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South. The family will receive friends on Monday from 9:30 until 11 AM.
