Leo Finley

of Columbiana, passed away on Friday, March 24, 2006, at the age of 91. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eula A. Hood Finley, and 3 sons, James F. Finley, Robert P. Finley and A. Wayne Finley. Mr. Finley was born and reared in Shelby County, and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and Kingdom Community of Columbiana. He retired from U.S. Steel Ensley Open Hearth & Blast Furnace with more than 30 years service. He is survived by a son, Charles E. Finley (Virginia); 3 daughters, Frances V. Brasher (James W.), Barbara Ann Brandon (James W.) and Patricia S. Smith (Nathan E.); 14 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 27, 2006, from 12:30 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy. 150, Hoover. Funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Joe Stone officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South. Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home directing.
