Lennie Watson

WATSON, LENNIE PEARL, of Bessemer, passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2008 at the age of 75. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 46 years, Erbie Lee Watson; a sister, Edith Toddoroff; and a brother, ZD Cox. She is the beloved mother of three daughters, Aloma Goss (Frank) of Knox, IN, Diane Holmes (Robert, Sr.) of Gary, IN, and Ronda Jo Sweeney (Scott) of Hebron, IN; and three sons, Donald Watson (Barbara) of Gary, IN, Alvin Watson (Liesa) of Columbiana, and Calvin Watson (Jessica) of Montevallo. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren (and three on the way); a sister, Geneva Thompson of Jemison; and three brothers, Cecile Cox (Monterey) of Bessemer, Willard Cox (Betty) of Bessemer, and RV Cox (Lola May) of Bessemer. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 2, 2008 from 6-8 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home on Hwy 150 in Hoover. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at 10 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
