Leila Armstrong

Mrs. Leila Armstrong, of Vestavia Hills, passed away Monday, June 11, 2012, at the age of 77. She was a caring mother, a loving wife and a faithful member of the Vestavia Hills Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, J.E. Armstrong; her father, H.E. Timmerman; her mother, Mary Timmerman. She is survived by 2 sons, Eddie Armstrong, his wife, Mickey, and Tim Armstrong, his wife, Julie; and 4 grandchildren, Jay Armstrong, Jessica Armstrong, Brian Armstrong, and Zach Armstrong. The family will receive friends from 10-11:30, Thursday, June 14, 2012, at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150 in Hoover. Funeral will follow at 11:30 in the funeral home chapel, Steve Patton, Harold Comer, and Jason Cicero officiating. Interment will be at 2 PM in Pine Level Methodist Church Cemetery in Prattville, AL.
