Leigh Hester

Leigh Gilbert Hester, 46, of Hoover, Al passed away December 27, 2014 at her home. She was a devoted wife, of 24 years, to Rick. She was a loving and wonderful mom to Rachel and Rainey. Her most joyous moments were spent with her family and friends. She will be sorely missed by all those who knew her and were touched by her kindness and generosity. She is survived by her husband Rick and daughters Rachel and Rainey Hester. She is also survived by her parents Dale and Minnette Gilbert and sister Marsi Hays (TJ). She is also survived by her two nieces Brooke and sister Marsi Hays (TJ). She is also survived by her two nieces Brooke and Caroline. A memorial service will be held at St. Mark United Methodist Church in Vestavia, Al, on Monday, December 29. Visitation will be from 12:30-2PM. The service will begin at 2:00PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Children's Hospital of Alabama.
