Leah Celeste Swenor, of Hoover, was taken too early in life as she passed away tragically on Friday, April 27, 2018, at age 22. She was born on December 29, 1995, in Anaconda, Montana. Leah went to Hope Christian School and worked as an Operations Support Specialist at Proctor U. Leah loved her family and friends and loved spending time with them. Especially the love of her life, Chad Reed and many other special friends. Her passion was animal rescue and she was a gifted artist. She also loved her home school family and church family.
Leah is survived by her mother and step-father, Shannon and Craig Dunlop; her father and step-mother, Matt and Constance Swenor; and many other extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 3, 2018, from 12-1 PM in the Chapel of Hunter Street Baptist Church, at 2600 John Hawkins Pkwy, Hoover, AL 35244. A memorial service will follow at 1 PM with Dr. Buddy Gray officiating.
In lieu of flowers, Leah wanted donations to be sent to her favorite charity, Two By Two Animal Rescue in Helena, Alabama or through the Facebook page at www.twobytworescue.com.
