Leah Moore

Leah H. Moore, of Hoover, passed away on Monday, November 14, 2016, at age 47. Leah was a member of Church of the Highlands. She was a graduate of the University of Alabama where she was a member of the Gamma Phi Beta Sorority. Leah was a school teacher and taught in Birmingham, Mobile and Eufaula. She was an avid runner completing multiple marathons and half marathons. Leah was preceded in death by her mother, Vicki Davis.

She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Scott Moore; two sons, Bryant and Blake Moore; her father, Elbert Hubbard (Maryanne); her sister, Marla Kerce, and several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, November 18, 2016, from 12-1 PM in the Chapel at Church of the Highlands - Grants Mill Campus. The Memorial Service will follow at 1 PM with Rev. Chris Toole officiating.
