Lawrence Flaucher

Lawrence H. "Jack" Flaucher, of Hoover, passed away on Thursday, June 7, 2018, at age 85. Jack was born February 16, 1933, in Hazleton, IA where he grew up on the family farm. He was the son of Amos Flaucher and Florence Short. Jack served in the Air Force and will be remembered as a loving husband and father. He recently celebrated his 64th wedding anniversary with his wife, Shelby. His heart has always been for his family. We will always cherish his ready smile and his willingness to serve God, family and others.

Jack is survived by his wife, Shelby; his sons, Randall of Hoover, and Gary (Cheryl) of Pelham; two granddaughters, Ally and Erin; and his sisters, Norma Byrd and Velma Falck of Iowa.

Services will be held for Jack on Monday, June 11, 2018. Burial will be at the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo at 10:15 AM. Then the family will receive friends at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home from 1-2 PM with a Memorial Service following in the Chapel
